Holidays

We celebrated Christmas and Hanukkah at Mike's mom's place in North Canton, Ohio. It was a quick trip, but we had a very nice time visiting with Mike's family. In addition to celebrating Christmas, we lit the Menorah and made latkes.

Engagement

It's official! Mike and Jill are engaged! Mike proposed on Saturday, December 17 with flowers and ring in hand. We then went to dinner and had a wonderful evening. Below is a picture taken at the restaurant.

A little history . . .

Jill and I met on March 24 at our friend's (Katy) birthday party at the Saloon in DC. I noticed Jill from afar and knew that I had to meet her. Our first date was on April 2 and I was fortunate that she agreed to another outing. Below is a picture taken this past summer.
