Cousins visit DC

Pete Sokolov came to town (from his home in Sacramento, California) for a conference. Steve Solomon took the train down from New York, and joined him for a night. Happily, the cousins all had the opportunity to visit. It was another beautiful day, perfect for touring the Mall and Capitol, and for visiting the Air & Space Museum. We all had dinner together in DuPont Circle, and even played a little foosball.

Baby Shower

Lisa Dewey hosted a wonderful baby shower for Jill at Mon Ami Gabi, a French bistro in Bethesda. Jill was joined by many of her dear friends and they enjoyed great food and lots of good company. The sun was shining and the day sparkled with friendship and good cheer. Baby Raku (our in utero name for baby boy Schaub) will be a very fashionable youngster with all of the hippest toys. Maxine provided a very special gift of two beautiful hand knit baby blankets and sweater sets.
